Box Prints

I made a series of arrangements of small paper boxes with a few other objects like PVC pipes and wax that I photographed as sketches for larger sculptures I was building for my senior thesis at Wesleyan (image 1). I ended up really liking the images I created and went on to use a laser-cutter to etch them into plexi glass plates and print them. In my final thesis I had a long line of prints in overlapping colored compositions (image 2), but in the end I preferred the individual black and white images I made more.
